Market Field School was opened in 1975. It is situated in a quiet village in pleasant surroundings just outside Colchester. Our school caters for a range of pupils with special needs from a wide catchment area.
In recent years the school has grown by over 20% because of the success that the pupils enjoy. The schools evident success has received national recognition:

The accommodation has all been recently renovated and modernised with funding from the New Deal for Schools.
